You can buy a fully trained attack dog or have your dog trained in this way. If you are willing to learn the procedure and are sure your dog is suitable for this, you can also do attack dog training yourself. Which option you choose depends on how much time you want to put into the effort, as well as your needs and budget.

One thing to remember is that an attack dog is not really a pet, but a working dog. Once a dog has undergone attack dog training, he does not have a complete trust in strangers.
