However, since my Aussie's coat soaks up water I bought him this rain coat. It covers him. I love the added reflection. We almost got hit by a car once in the rain because it was dark. Now we are more visible. He enjoys longer walks now in the rain. Best of all when we come back to the house we don't have to spend a lot of time drying off him and everything else that he use to splatter with rain after shaking his coat or rubbing on my furniture.
